Research Areas

Scaling Up
We developed a general framework for scaling up learning algorithms to massive data streams and data sets; applied it to develop 7 learning systems; and evaluated them in extensive empirical studies on real work and synthetic data sets.
Social Networks
By mining social networks, we can identify key people with the most network influence. This information may be used for marketing, reducing the spread of disease, etc.

Computing Resources (should be internal only)

Here is some information about our Data Mining Cluster.
